Haven Academy of the Arts Brings THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE to El Segundo Tonight

Haven Academy of the Arts, an El Segundo-based theatre program, is pleased to announce its summer production of Thoroughly Modern Millie.

Taking place in New York City in 1922, Thoroughly Modern Millie tells the story of young Millie Dillmount, who has just moved to the city in search of a new life for herself. It's a New York full of intrigue and jazz - a time when women were entering the workforce and the rules of love and social behavior were changing forever. Thoroughly Modern Millie is a high-spirited musical romp that will have your whole family dancing the Charleston.

Haven Academy's cast of youth ages 11-21 includes Callista Abinante, DeAna Abinante, Rebeca Abinante, Cassie Atkinson, Clayton Atkinson, Kayla Atkinson, Farren Borden, Jordan Caballero, Abigail Cash, Esther Cash, Nico Catalano, Kelsey Chaykowski, Khenadi Christmas, Miguel Contreras, Kenny Cook, Kelly Crabtree, Kate Crabtree, James Graham, Laura Hernandez, Grace Julian, Kaylee Julian, Micah Julian, Micah Lambert, Brandi Morales, Leah Morales, Emma Morton, Amber Mullenbach, Annie Ortiz, Kayla Ortiz, Rachel Penner, Alyssa Poe, Hannah Rams, Gabby Segovia, Kelsey Simon, Mandi Thomas, Heather Torrey, Britney Torrey, and Mindy Truman who will be performing the original Broadway version of this TONY Award winning musical including all the challenging tap routines and difficult jazz harmonies presented in the Broadway production.
