Pacific Resident Theatre brings Nobel Laureate Harold Pinter's Tony Award winning play, THE HOMECOMING (tonight, May 30 - July 26,2015) , to Los Angeles for the first time in over a decade. Directed by Guillermo Cienfuegos, multi award-winning director of last year's critically acclaimed HENRY V, this darkly sexual comedy challenges expectations of power and gender - and shows us that people are seldom what they appear. This is the third show of PRT's 2014 -2015 season With a cast including Jude Ciccolella (24) as Max, Lesley Fera (PRETTY LITTLE LIARS), as Ruth, Trent Dawson (Broadway, THE HERBAL BED; AS THE WORLD TURNS; Emmy Award) as Teddy, and Jason Downs (HAIRSPRAY) as Lenny, this riveting dark comedy pushes the boundaries of traditional family and keeps audiences guessing.
Set in 1960's North London, Teddy returns home to introduce his wife of six years to the family: his father Max, a retired butcher; his Uncle Sam, a chauffeur; his younger brother Lenny, who appears to be a pimp; and his youngest brother Joey, a boxer who works in demolition. But things don't go exactly as planned...
