Making this season truly "unforgettable," Rockwell Table and Stage un-wraps the return of "The Unauthorized Musical Parody of Home Alone," just in time for the holidays. Performances start Dec. 1 and run through Jan. 1, 2017. Grab your tickets now so you won't be left behind when the musical madness of John Hughes' beloved family film unfolds LIVE on Rockwell's stage: www.rockwell-la.com.
In this adaptation, the iconic role of "Kevin" made famous by Macaulay Culkin, will be alternatingly played by actresses Gwen Hollander and Caitlyn Gallogly. Rockwell puts its own LIVE spin on the wildly successful Home Alone franchise, giving the holiday movie hijinks an extra dash of campiness and side-splitting craziness. Memorable songs of the 80's add to the hilarity, along with your favorite classic holiday music.
Said Executive Producer Kate Pazakis, "This holiday production is a family friendly show, suitable for all ages...if you liked the HOME ALONE the movie, you will be in stiches over our original production of The Unauthorized Musical Parody HOME ALONE," adding, "and like Mary Martin was cast to play 'Peter Pan' in that original 1954 Broadway production, we also chose to cast a female for our lead as little 'Kevin.'"
Co-written by Kate Pazakis and Ray Wetmore. Directed by John Flynn. Musical direction by Greg Nabours. Cast includes: Gwen Hollander, Caitlyn Gallogly, Marla Mindelle, Alex Mohajer, Peter Allen Vogt, Zach Zagoria, Misha Reeves, Megan Reinking, Damon Gravina, Joey Bybee and Spencer Strong Smith.
Tickets are on sale now from Dec. 1 through Jan. 1, along with additional weekend matinee performances. Rockwell: Table & Stage is located in Los Feliz at 1714 N. Vermont Ave, Los Angeles. For more information, visit www.rockwell-la.com.
