After a successful run last fall at the Whitefire Theatre, HAPPY HOUR returns for a run at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
The Noho Arts District called the play "New, very funny and cuttingly truthful," and wrote, "This is a very funny play. Full of bruising observations and clever asides."
A dark comedy written by husband and wife team Tracey McClain and Zach Drummer and directed by Drummer, HAPPY HOUR follows a trio of millennial friends, two of whom are engaged and the third primed to be Best Man, as they attend a happy hour. But things take a turn when they engage with an older woman who is celebrating her birthday. Polite conversation crumbles and true colors are revealed when the woman pries her way into the group and stirs the conversation.
