Tonight, September 25, Los Angeles, desperation and ambition will come clashing together. This fall Great Minds Creative Productions brings the action packed, gun slinging, gangsters of our favorite movies into a live theatrical production called, GET. THAT. SNITCH. directed by Andrew Pilmer. GET. THAT. SNITCH. will open to the public tonight, September 25, 2015 at 8:00 PM and perform through Sunday November 1st in the Atwater Village Theatre.
This action-packed, dark comedy follows the high stakes ambition of one man as he attempts to forge his own path in a world surrounded by bad men. GET. THAT. SNITCH. brings gun-blazing (no holds-barred) action to life in front of your very eyes. The quick and explosive fight sequences combined with tough- guy banter, cool suits, blood, and guns, guarantees to keep the audience on the edge of their seats as they witness the start of a new action standard in live entertainment.
Comments about the play from the Director, Andrew Pilmer: "GET. THAT. SNITCH. truly is a sheep in wolf's clothing. From the opening scene to the last cue this show is constantly convincing you that it is something it is not. Those twists and turns are really what attracted me to this story in the first place. Boiled down to one word this show is all about control. Every character has a unique relationship with their perception of control and this play is a wonderful exploration of the extreme lengths we will go to in order to maintain control. Oh yah, and there's an awful lot of blood!"
Andrew Pilmer (Director) is studying theatre at the University of Southern California. He wrote, directed, produced and edited No Extras, his debut short film which recently screened at the Palm Springs International Shortfest and the Toronto Beaches International Film Festival. His acting credits while at USC include The Crucible, Museum, Chicago, Le Ronde, The Art of Success and several student film projects.
Achilles Capone (Writer) has never let the truth get in the way of a good story. He has written many things, and some of them are worthwhile. Get. That. Snitch. is the only one you've ever heard of. He fell in love once. It didn't work out. So he became a writer.
