Coyote StageWorks, the Coachella Valley based award-winning Actors' Equity professional theater company will conclude its 2016-2017 theatrical season with a production of "The Lady With All the Answers," a popular one-woman play that will feature Coachella Valley favorite Gloria Loring as she portrays the beloved American advice columnist Ann Landers.
The production will run April 14 - 23, 2017 with eight performances at the Annenberg Theater in the Palm Springs Art Museum.
The fully staged play brings to life the wise, funny, no-nonsense woman whose daily dialogue with America helped shape the social and sexual landscapes of the last half-century.
This heartwarming comedy/drama by writer, playwright, actor and producer David Rambo gives us a chance to get up close and personal with "Eppie" Lederer, better known to the world as Ann Landers. This folksy, funny, and straightforward one-woman play is set in Eppie's plush, traditionally furnished living room on a late night in 1975. Eppie ominously lets on in the show's first few minutes that she is preparing to write the "most important column of my career." But like many another journalist facing a deadline, she insists on exhausting all forms of procrastination before settling down to crank out her copy.
Instead of rapping out those few momentous paragraphs, Eppie entertains the audience with cozy tales of her colorful history, interspersing these with readings of some of her favorite letters, including questions about nude housekeeping, sex in a motorcycle helmet, sibling rivalries, addiction, religion and wandering spouses.
The play will star renowned actress Gloria Loring, of "Days of Our Lives" fame, who blew away audiences with her award-winning performance in the Coyote StageWorks production of "Love, Loss and What I Wore." In "The Lady With All the Answers," Loring will portray the popular advice columnist as she struggles to complete her latest installment while dealing with a new kind of heartbreak: her own. The Chicago Tribune calls the play "... warmhearted ...highly entertaining, and frequently moving..." and the Los Angeles Times describes it as "...engaging from beginning to end."
The 2016-2017 Coyote StageWorks season is generously sponsored by Annette Bloch and David Lee. Earlier this year, David Lee also issued a $30,000 challenge grant that doubled any donation the company received. Donna MacMillan recently joined as the generous production sponsor.

She has starred in several Movies of the Week, television specials, and theatrical productions, including a national tour of "Anything Goes."
