Yesterday evening, FLAUNT partnered with GlobAl Green for their 14th annual pre-Oscar fundraiser at the new TAO in Hollywood. The event honored Tribal Chairman of the Standing Rock Indian Reservation, David Archambault II, among others, and was a bold show of community in the face of the increasing threat to our environment and way of life.
Various high profile attendees gave speeches, including an impassioned oration about Standing Rock by legendary activist and Hollywood star Jane Fonda.
Notable attendees included Orlando Bloom, Oliver Stone, Jeff Bridges, Paula Abdul, James Van Der Beek, Ed Begley Jr., Ryan Guzman, Garcelle Beauvais, John Salley, Ed O'Neill, Rachel Griffiths, and Madelaine Petsch.
Taylor Dayne, Estelle, and Cody Simpson gave exciting performances throughout the night.Additional honorees included young inventor Max Loughan, Douglas Chandler Stoup of the Ice Axe Foundation, and Ryan Brown, CEO of Earth Day Texas, and Innovative Wind Turbine Company 4navitas.
Amongst the items auctioned during the event for GlobAl Green was a rug designed by the luxury maker Hossein Rezvani inspired by FLAUNT's recent The Elements Issue art cover-a photograph by high profile explorer and photographer Sebastian Copeland, a co-founder of GlobAl Green. Maestro Dobel Tequila provided boutique cocktails at the beautiful new bar.
