Nationally recognized actor and vocalist Gia Mora announces the return of her newest solo show, Einstein's Girl, to The Gardenia in Hollywood, California. The show will play for two nights on Friday and Saturday, May 17 and 18 at 9pm. The Gardenia is located at 7066 Santa Monica Boulevard, just east of La Brea Avenue.

Einstein's Girl explores the "science of love... theoretically speaking." Mora turns her signature wit and intellectual prowess on an unlikely pair of human languages: love and mathematics. In her hilarious show, she investigates interpersonal relations in the digital age through song and story. Composer and multi-instrumentalist Charlie Barnett will accompany Mora on piano.

Jennifer Ouelette of Scientific American's Cocktail Party Physics raved of the show's debut, "The Divine Miz Mora's bubbly energy was on full display, along with her impressive four-octave range and an unapologetic sex appeal...a 'wanna-be theoretical physicist.' With a killer set of pipes." Broadway World marveled, "Ms. Mora managed the unthinkable here - putting a fresh spin on the subject of love. Melding intellectual thoughts on topics as varied as black holes and supercomputing and devilishly funny commentary on the intersection between American obsession with technology and the search for love with sultry, jazz-infused vocals." "A joy from start to finish," Cabaret Scenes Magazine lauds Mora and says the show "marks the beginning of stardust coalescing into a star."

Mora brings a twenty-first century twist to the art of cabaret combining original music, jazz standards, stand-up comedy, and a crash course in cutting edge science. "I've always loved the intersection of art and science," muses Mora. "This new show aims to tear down fears that mathematics is only for an elite group of academics. Physics is all around us, and learning while laughing makes it all the more memorable."

Gia Mora is a triple-threat performer and writer. Past solo performances include headlining at Don't Tell Mama in New York; The Gardenia and House of Blues in Los Angeles; Bethesda Blues & Jazz and Blues Alley in Washington, DC; Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret in Denver; and An Die Musik and Germano's in Baltimore. She is a four-time Helen Hayes Award nominee, and her recent musical theatre credits include world premieres at Ford's Theatre and the Kennedy Center. She is signed to Modern Songbook Records and will release her second CD in 2013. Videos and more are available on www.GiaMora.com.

Composer, arranger, producer, and instrumentalist Charlie Barnett has thrilled listeners around the world. His wonderfully eclectic band, Chaise Lounge, just released their fifth album, A Very Chaise Lounge Christmas, to critical acclaim. On film, Mr. Barnett's compositions have garnered many awards, including two Emmy nominations. He has also written music for Saturday Night Live, Third Rock from the Sun, and Weeds.
