Just before the release of the highly anticipated 7th season of HBO's tentpole drama, fans will have an opportunity to relive the most iconic moments from their favorite show - this time as an absurd, laugh out loud musical comedy.
The creators of Lost: The Musical and the critically acclaimed Once Upon a Time: The Rock Opera have teamed up for their big return to the stage with Game of Thrones: The Musical! - A Song of Nice Satire.
"The initial interest from the fans has been tremendous," says veteran character actor Steven Christopher Parker, who serves as the play's co-writer and director. "Much like Point Break Live or A Very Potter Musical we've created a tribute to TV's favorite show. We've included all the murder, sex, betrayal and incest we could handle."
"We have 12 original songs spanning the greatest moments the original series has to offer." says Erin Stegeman, one of the show's musical directors.
"From tap dancing direwolves, to a catchy Dothraki love song, and even a hip-hop inspired Tyrion solo number, our show will have audiences on their feet with toes tapping and hands clapping... provided they still have both of their hands."
Game of Thrones: The Musical - A Song of Nice Satire debuts February 17th, 2017 at Hollywood's historic Macha Theatre in West(eros) Hollywood.
It is set for a 10-week run with a total of 40 performances with two casts! House Lannister performs Fridays at 8pm and Saturdays at 4pm while House Targaryen performs Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 7pm.
