Thursday Night Theater Club announce their cast of fourteen for The Elephant Man by playwright Bernard Pomerance. Robyn Cohen is delighted to be at the helm with such a notable group of actors.

THE ELEPHANT MAN is a true story based on the life of Joseph Merrick. Merrick is an intensely disfigured young man - victim of rare skin and bone diseases. Seen as a freak by society, his life changes when young physician Frederick Treves rescues him from a life as a carnival freak and agrees to care for him.
The Elephant Man is an iconic drama. Thursday Night Theater Club has selected a diverse and talented cast to highlight the challenging roles of the production.
The play opened in London in 1977. It premiered on Broadway in 1979 and won all of the major theater awards, including three Tony Awards, three Obie Awards, four Drama Desk Awards, and the New York Drama Critics Circle Award. Tom Vitorino- John Merrick- Actor, producer and Co-founder of Thursday Night Theater Club. His theatre credits include A View From The Bridge, Noises Off, Hamlet, Light Sensitive, Othello, The Wasteland, 12 Angry Men, It's Only A Play, Burn This, and Breaking Legs.
Alice L Walker - Mrs. Kendal - Actor, producer and/Co-founder of Thursday Night Theater Club, Alice began her career as a ballet dancer, performing with Joffrey Ballet, Ballet Chicago, Ballet Austin and Ontario Ballet Theater of Canada. Walker has choreographed and directed ballets like Cinderella: A Rock and Romance Ballet at El Portal. Theatre credits include Beauty & The Beast, The Sound of Music, Shrek The Musical, A Chorus Line, Arthur Miller's A View From The Bridge, and coming this fall she will play her most challenging role yet of Claudia Draper in Tom Topor's Nuts at El Portal Theater.
Jon Sperry - Ross/Bishop Howe - Jon has been acting for over 35 years and on stage in New York, Los Angeles and regionally. One of his favorite recent roles was Howard opposite the brilliant Mark Rydell in a staged reading of Death of a Salesman. Other favorite roles include The Foreigner, Butterflies Are Free, Baby Dance, Rocket to the Moon,The Cherry Orchard, Five Finger Exercise, 1776, and Filthy Talk for Troubled Times. Jon is also one of the top dialect and voice coaches in America. Jon is the resident speech, dialect and voice teacher at The Actors Studio in Los Angeles, where he is a lifetime member.
Jennipher Lewis - Miss Sandwich/Pinhead - Some of her recent theatre credits include "Much Ado About Nothing, Mistress Overdone, Measure For Measure, All's Well That Ends Well, and The Tempest.
Vanessa Vaughn - Duchess/Nurse/Pinhead/Understudy Mrs. Kendal - Some LA credits include Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Cinderella (A Ballet), LoveSick, a role she originated and played at LOFT Ensemble in Downtown LA and in NYC. Partial NY & regional credits include: Shear Madness (Kennedy Center); Camille, Wintertime, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Arcadia, The Weir and Romeo and Juliet.
Emily Asher Kellis - Countess/Pinhead/ Nurse - Emily is currently an acadamy member at Antaeus and Theatricum Botanicum primarily studying Shakespeare and classics, and is also a new company member with the City Garage Theater. She most recently performed in the Warriors for Peace Women of Shakespeare.
Jay Parker - Pinhead Manager/Lord John - Jay Parker is an actor, playwright and director. He was the founder and managing director of Mosaic Lizard Theater. He has been involved in the theater arts all of his life.
Nathan Wallace - Snork/English Police Officer - His theatrical credits include: A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Time of Your Life, The Crucible, Macbeth, and Living Dead in Denmark.
Robin S. Roth - Princess Alexandra/Nurse - Has performed locally in the Hollywood Fringe Fest, Fremont Centre Theatre, and Track 16 Theatre; in NYC at Gene Frankel Theatre and Manhattan Rep; and in Kentucky at Studio Players and Act Out.
Logan Padilla - Orderly Will - Growing up in the theatre in Georgia, Logan has spent the last 10 years in New York City where he studied at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and went on to perform in numerous theatrical and television productions, and concerts. Having moved to Los Angeles five short months ago, Logan is ready to take to get back onstage, and what better place to start!
Albert Soratorio - Belgian Police Officer - Albert is a multidisciplinary artist with involvement in film, theater, & fine art. He is currently working on developing Ensemble Entertainment Productions, a Non-Profit organization intended on providing opportunities for under served communities in the entertainment industry. He continues to work on development teams with River Rock Productions, the newly formed company Disposable Royalty Arts, & other independent filmmakers generating new content. His most recent theatre credits include A View From The Bridgeand 26 Pebbles.
David Revaza - Orderly/Porter - David first appeared on TNTC inA View from the Bridge and 26 Pebbles. He is also known for playing in New York Film Academy projects, such as - Voicecracking, Midnight Gift, Weight, and Chance.
