Fringe Theatre Company will present RANDOM ACTS, seven new short one-act plays by Fringe Company members that feature fast paced comedy, quirky characters, and contemporary situations that will leave you laughing and craving more.
RANDOM ACTS opens Friday May 9th and runs Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 7 p.m. through May 31st. All tickets are $20. RANDOM ACTS is an eclectic mix of comedies and drama including: A satiric look at the pharmaceutical industry's TV commercials; a Twilight Zone episode in a high-end Beverly Hills department store; a first-timer's frustrations using self-checkout; two women vying to reveal the true origin of Elvis's famous peanut butter and banana sandwich; three sisters discovering they have been romanced online by the same lothario; and slice of life dramas for soldiers trapped in an apocalyptic scenario, and twenty-somethings trapped in a dead-end job, replete with romantic and violent close-calls.
