SUBLIMITY features David Bridel in the role of tormentEd English poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge, focusing, in particular, on that fateful evening in 1797 when he composed his famous pre-romantic masterpiece, Kubla Khan. Exploring the tragicomic character of Coleridge - part tender fool, part opium addict - SUBLIMITY uses many of the poet's own words to explore the nature of creativity and inspiration.

In 2012 their show, That Beautiful Laugh won Best in Physical Theatre Award and earned a Backstage Critic's Pick and Flavorpill's Editor's Pick. In 2011 Four Clowns received the Best World Premiere & Top of the Fringe Award, besting nearly 200 shows with their adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, and their inaugural show, Four Clowns toured to over ten different cities around the country. Following their recent main stage production of Robin Hood at South Coast Repertory, this highly-anticipated production is an invigorating match for the programming offered by Four Clowns.
