Forbidden Broadway: Special Victims Unit will be taking a ten week break from its run at the 47th Street Theatre this spring, sitting down in San Diego at the Theatre in Old Town (4040 Twiggs Street—San Diego, CA) during the hiatus.

Under the terms of their rental agreement with the 47th Street Theatre, Forbidden Broadway must vacate the theatre for 10 weeks each year to make way for the theatre's resident company, The Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre, to play its season. Forbidden Broadway: Special Victims Unit will complete performances March 27th and will return to the 47th Street Theatre on June 9th after a 10 week limited engagement at San Diego's Theatre in Old Town.

John Freedson, Forbidden Broadway's producer said: "We hate to miss any part of the season, but we did know, when we originally made the deal with the 47th Street Theatre, that we'd found the perfect space for our show, but we would be spending ten weeks a year elsewhere. We are thrilled that this year 'elsewhere' is San Diego."

Tickets in New York will be on sale during the hiatus at the 47th Street Theatre and can be purchased online at Telecharge.
