FOR THE LOVE OF PARODY PRODUCTIONS (FLOP) is a theatre and film/new media Production Company that produces musical parodies with original music. Recently completing filming on "Buffy Kills Edward: The Web Series" (Fall 2018 release) and coming off their sold-out run of "Buffy Kills Edward" at the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival, the team returns to the fest with the brand new musical parody: "Sex and the Musical." FLOP was founded by Laura Wiley and is based in Los Angeles.

ABOUT THE WRITER

LAURA WILEY presents her latest work, Sex and the Musical, with her newly founded Production Company, For the Love of Parody Productions. Other recent work includes: Buffy Kills Edward and Winter is Coming (Hollywood Fringe) and Buffy Kills Edward: the Web Series. Laura writes the music, lyrics, and book/screenplay to all of her parody musicals. When not writing, she is performing as the piano woman all over town, most notably at Hollywood's newest piano bar: Tramp Stamp Granny's owned by Glee's Darren Criss. ABOUT THE DIRECTOR/CHOREOGRAPHER

CORY ROBISON is originally from Indianapolis, IN. He received his BA in Theater from Millikin University. Past Hollywood Fringe acting credits include: Shakeslesque (Top of Fringe/Best Cabaret Winner 2017), Buffy Kills Edward, Nilbog: The Unauthorized Musical Parody of Trolls 2, A Whole Newd World-Cherry Tales at The Knock Shop, and Mad Lib! The Musical. Other LA theatre credits include:The Wild Party"(Oscar D'Armano), Winter Is Coming (Jaime Lannister/Robb Stark), The Four of Us (David), Zombie Prom (Jake), and Tommy's Toyshop. Recently, he was assistant director and reprised his role as Xander in Buffy Kills Edward: The Web Series. He is doubling as cast and staff once again in Sex and the Musical as Mr. Big. Sherry Berg (Carrie) is head over her Manolo Blahnik heels to portray the iconic Carrie Bradshaw. Alli Miller (Samantha), infamous for her sexy, unique brand of burlesque entertainment known as Cherry Poppins Productions, she shows off her talents regularly as a performer, writer, choreographer, producer, and all around badass. After winning Top of Fringe and Best Cabaret last year for Shakeslesque, she is bringing to this year's Fringe: Dr. Nympho and the Sex Zombies and Craftslesque.
