FRESH PRODUCE'd LA has announced the world premiere of Friends in Transient Places by Jonathan Caren, directed by Katherine Vondy and produced by Amelia Phillips and Heather Boothby.

While traveling from New York to Los Angeles, strangers grapple with differing problems - an estranged son, a painful breakup, a conspicuously missing dog - yet they all yearn to put aside their baggage for one moment of magical connection.

This rhythmic, whimsical journey will star Heather Boothby, Audrey Cain, Anastasia Coon, Bradley Gosnell, Jason Karasev, Amelia Phillips, Michael Turner, Rajan Velu, Barry Vigon, and Garrett Walters.

Featuring: Percussion and Composition by Quentin Jones; Set Design by Katie-Bell Kenney; Lighting Design by Lauren Wemischner; Sound Design by Benjamin Watt; Costume design by Melissa Trn; Props by Carissa Pinckney; and Stage Manager Jonas Newhous.

Review: THE GIRL WHO MADE THE MILKY WAY at The Colony Theatre

Written by acclaimed actress and playwright June Carryl and produced by Imagine Theatre, this light-hearted, fantastical voyage through the savanna is inspired by folktales and origin stories from South Africa.  There is a charming Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland feeling of whimsy and adventure afoot in this production.
