The timeless Fiddler on the Roof has endeared itself to audiences worldwide with the tale of Tevye, a humble milkman struggling to instill his religious values and Jewish traditions in his strong-willed daughters. However, times are changing. When Tevye's daughters want to make their own matches, he must choose between their happiness and those longstanding traditions that keep the outside world at bay.
In the end, Tevye's pride, faith, and love for his family help him persevere and prevail over the outside forces that threaten his customs and way of life. The universal themes of tradition and heritage transcend race, economic class, nationality, and religion.
Cleverly weaving poignant music, dance, and laughter, Fiddler on the Roof has earned applause worldwide. The production showcases a rousing score that features Tradition; Matchmaker, Matchmaker; If I Were a Rich Man; and Sunrise, Sunset.
