A Tony-winner is set for a master class!

The Broadway Mentors Program is soon set to expand to New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago according to a recent announcement by founder Joy Lober and Tony Award-winning participant Anthony Crivello comments on the program exclusively to BroadwayWorld in addition to announcing his upcoming master class set for October 4 in Los Angeles.

Crivello shares, "I'm pleased to be a part of the Broadway Mentors Program. The Broadway Mentors Program allows me to assist young artists in their quest to achieve their highest artistic goals - as actors, as filmmakers, as stage directors - and to move forward from the classroom to the professional marketplace. To take these young artits and hand over the 'practical tools' and the knowledge I can share from 42 years as a professional, that is a blessing for this teacher."

Among the starry mentors who have participated in the program in the past besides Crivello is Joanna Gleason, Cady Huffman, Donna McKechnie, Pamela Myers, Anthony Rapp, Merri Sugarman and more.

The official mission statement of the Broadway Mentors Program is as follows: "The Broadway Mentors Program is a Celebrity based Master Class series that brings active Broadway and Hollywood performers, actors, producers and writers to the Somerville NJ area.

This unique program is geared toward the professional and the novice performer. The Broadway Mentor's Program offers the "real deal" side to the working nature of the industry. Students will have the opportunity to build their personal skills with the highly professional critique taught by these Mentors who have "been there" and are STILL "doing that"!

Yes, we all can travel to NY, pay the tolls or train fares, parking fees, and cab fares to be taught by these extraordinary professionals. The Broadway Mentors Program brings these consummate artists to your door step, with their knowledge of the New York and Los Angeles criteria and business guidelines.

The Master Classes are small in nature, allowing the student to have the most intimate interaction with these "Stars". Therefore, sign up and reservations for these classes are on a first come first served basis.

Beside the incredible knowledge these Mentors will share with their students, it is clear that the networking and exposure to performers who are "in the middle of it all" is always a wonderful situation.
