Ed Asner, Dakin Matthews and Kristen Vangsness are among the celebrities who will be in attendance at a street party scheduled to take place on Sunday, Oct. 18 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at NoHo Plaza in North Hollywood.
Speakers will include actors
Kevin Dobson (House of Lies, Days of Our Lives, F/X) and
French Stewart (The Middle, 3rd Rock from the Sun), as well as NoHoArtsDistrict.com founder/publisher
Nancy Bianconi and AJS founder/multiple award-winning costume designer Jeffrey Schoenberg. The event will feature entertainment by Michael Leon-Wooley,
Brittney Bertier,
Dennis Kyle,
Vanessa Stewart and alternative rock band Maji.
Organized by NoHo Arts District and members of the "PRO99" Los Angeles theater community, the street party is intended to raise awareness about the impact that new regulations from Actor's Equity Association, the union of actors and stage managers, is having on the local community -- including AJS Costumes which is in danger of going out of business.
Admission to the NoHo Arts District and PRO99 Street Party to save AJS Costumes is free and open to the public. For more information, visit
