Coming to the Hollywood Fringe Festival in June 2016, is the dystopian play "Revelation". Taking place in a parallel world, humans have freedom of thought but not freedom of choice.
Written and Directed by Gina Omilon, the play explores stereotypes and allusions that hint towards the Boston Marathon, Ferguson, 9/11, and more. Running at 50 minutes, the play questions the choices humans make and their consequences, leaving the audience with questions of their own at the end.
Revelation's cast of fourteen is combined with original cast members from their world premiere last spring, as well as new cast members. Cast and crew are all current students or alumni of AMDA College and Conservatory, located right in Hollywood.
Revelation will run from June 5 to June 26th on the mainstage at Theatre of NOTE, in Hollywood, CA.
This is Omilon's first production at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, with experience at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Originally from Alberta, Canada, Omilon holds her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, specializing in acting. She has worked in Los Angeles, New York and Toronto. Her team includes Kayla Peterson (Stage Manager) and Derek Hines (Media Design).
