The lighting designer is Chris Wilcox and casting is by Becky Lythgoe. "A Snow White Christmas" is produced by Kris Lythgoe, Becky Lythgoe, and Bonnie Lythgoe; it is presented at the Lyceum Theatre by San Diego Theatres in association with San Diego Repertory Theatre.

"For the past six years, the Lythgoes have been presenting their American Pantos in Los Angeles - these are so popular that they have very quickly become a holiday tradition there with sold out engagements every season," said San Diego Theatres. "We recently had the opportunity to bring "A Snow White Christmas" to San Diego, based on the very popular holiday British Panto, and we are thrilled to be able to present this production, in association with the San Diego Repertory Theatre."

"A great cast of Broadway, television, and regional performers for our first San Diego production. Panto is multi-generational theatre -- and is fun to audiences of all ages. It gives adults a chance to introduce their kids to the arts in the most entertaining and engaging way," says Lythgoe, the show's author and President of Lythgoe Family Panto. "San Diego is a huge supporter of the Arts and we are proud to expand panto productions with San Diego Theatres and San Diego Repertory Theatre to another wonderful city."

At The Pasadena Playhouse, Lythgoe Family Pantos have made their reputation with productions including "Peter Pan and Tinker Bell - A Pirates Christmas" starring Sabrina Carpenter and John O'Hurley, "Sleeping Beauty and Her Winter Knight" starring Olivia Holt and Lucy Lawless, "Aladdin and His Winter Wish" starring Ben Vereen, JorDan Fisher, and Ashley Argota - "A Snow White Christmas" (the original of this production) starring Ariana Grande and Neil Patrick Harris.

An updated version of the classic tale, in the style of a traditional British family Panto, "A Snow White Christmas" features family-friendly magic, with a comedic twist, dancing (with "So You Think You Can Dance" alumni), a live miniature pony and contemporary music from Katy Perry's "Firework" to Huey Lewis and the News' "Power of Love" to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and more. A Panto is known for its interactive style and humor that appeals to everyone from ages 2 - 102!

Lythgoe Family Panto produces fun, musical theatre the whole family can enjoy. Known for their creativity and involvement in television hits "American Idol" and "So You Think You Can Dance," the Lythgoes are dedicated to bringing affordable theatre to families across America. Based on the Grimm fairytales and others, each story has been modernized with topical scripts for parents and well known pop songs for kids. The Lythgoes pride themselves on creating a memorable experience a family can share together.
