Brooklyn-based experimental rock band Dirty Projectors debuts at Walt Disney Concert Hall on Saturday, February 27, at 8 p.m. in a co-headlining performance with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. A collaborative endeavor, the first half of the program features the Los Angeles Philharmonic performing orchestral pieces chosen with David Longstreth of Dirty Projectors. The second half of the program features a performance by the band.

Dirty Projectors' wildly unpredictable and gloriously inventive sound, as showcased on their latest release, Bitte Orca, has made them many critics' pick for most compelling artist of the year. Vocalist and band mastermind David Longstreth has assembled a patchwork of harmonies over what has been described as "King Sunny Ade-meets-Jimmy Page guitar acrobatics."
