Following its wildly successful East Bay premiere of Irving Berlin's White Christmas last year, Diablo Theatre Company provides another holiday snuggling event for lovers of beautiful songs, dances and stars, with its second serving of the holiday classic.

The audience will dine on such heart-warming fare as White Christmas, of course, plus other Irving Berlin songs, including Sisters, Blue Skies and I Love A Piano. The lead role, made famous by Bing Crosby, will be played by popular Bay Area entertainer and crooner extraordinaire, Tom Reardon. Notable for Reardon is that one of his all time favorite songs to sing is featured in the show.

"After singing How Deep Is The Ocean for years standing by pianos all over the Bay Area, I finally get to actually perform the song in the full context that reveals its beauty and charm," said Reardon. "I am so excited to be working with director Amanda Folena who is bringing to life the relationships in the story of White Christmas that give the songs such feeling and warmth."

Indeed, director Folena is buzzing about the opportunity to set White Christmas aglow by letting the characters develop their relationships on stage, giving life to the songs and dances which create that lovely White Christmas mood so many people have enjoyed for much of their lives.

"The show is not just about Christmas, it's also about two couples falling in love," said Folena. "Bob and Betty Realize they have fallen in love while she is singing Love, You Didn't Do Right By Me, and he then embraces her with How Deep Is the Ocean. Phil and Judy actually fall in love when they dance together, enthralled, in The Best Things Happen While You're Dancing."
Diablo Theatre Company has assembled an all-star cast and staff for the show, which runs November 25th through December 4th.

Amanda Folena is the director, with Robyn Tribuzi as choreographer and Sean Kana as musical director.
