Center Theatre Group will present two public performances of "Darwin," An Adventure for All Ages, at the Kirk Douglas Theatre Saturday, March 14, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. as part of DouglasPlus.

Special student performances will take place Monday, March 9 through Friday, March 13.

Created by Corbin Popp and Ian Carney with a cutting-edge blend of puppetry, technology and dance, "Darwin" is the heartwarming story of a dinosaur named Darwin, who is created piece by piece by a famous scientist with magic powers. When Darwin is complete, he is sent off on an adventure, meeting all types of other creatures, and learning what is really important in life.

The March 14 public performances of "Darwin" are free for Culver City residents and open to purchase for non-residents by calling (213) 628-2772 or online at www.CenterTheatreGroup.org. Tickets are priced at $20.

Talkbacks with the audience are scheduled immediately after the two performances. In addition, these performances will be audio described for blind or low vision audience members. "Darwin" is also suitable for deaf audience members.
