Actor Danny Pino, star of FX Networks "Mayans MC", is hosting a special Cuban-themed holiday event to benefit the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) Foundation on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 7-11 pm at Ceremony Bar in Studio City.

The evening's program will include a special guest appearance by Grammy and Latin Grammy award winner Andy Garcia, who will perform at 10:30 pm with the 8-piece band "Cubamerica." Additional celebrity guests slated to attend include the "firemen" Ryan Guzman, Oliver Stark, Aisha Hinds, Kenny Choi, Gavin McHugh, and other cast members from Fox's hit television series "9-1-1," as well as community VIPs.

Restaurateur and renowned chef Frank Leon is the leading event sponsor, which is being organized by the Law Offices of Georgianna Junco-Kelman and Kathy J. Fisher. The benefit will include dinner, desserts, hosted cocktails, a cigar lounge, live entertainment, music by DJ Splyce, dancing, live auction, opportunity drawings and fabulous prizes.

Individual tickets are priced at $100.00. A limited amount of VIP tables are available for $1000.00 (includes reserved seating for 6 guests). Every dollar raised will be earmarked exclusively for the LAFD Foundation. To purchase tickets or donate, go to https://bit.ly/2r12qm6.

First responders in Los Angeles face an enormous array of challenges: wildfires, car and truck accidents, train collisions, earthquakes, and hazardous-material leaks and spills. Firefighters must endure searing heat, exposure to carcinogens, and other life-threatening conditions; paramedics are rigorously trained to respond to all types of injuries, from heart attacks and strokes to accident-related traumas, shootings, and drownings.

Founded in 2010 by a committed group of community activists and business leaders, the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation serves to strengthen the overall preparedness and responsiveness of the LAFD. Our focus is on public safety: We support the department by helping to invest in equipment, training programs, and public outreach to help these men and women excel at their jobs.
