Martial arts celebrities, anime artists, Asian-themed merchandise, and nearly 3,000 spectators are expected to attend the 14th Annual Dragonfest Expo at the Pickwick Gardens Conference Center in Burbank on Saturday, August 25, and Sunday, 26, 2018.

More than 45 celebrities will be making appearances including Eric Roberts (Best of the Best), Joe Mantegna (Criminal Minds), Michael Jai White (Tyson), Matthew Moy (Two Broke Girls), Lu Feng (Shaw Brothers star), Phil Morris (Seinfeld), Steven Ho (Conan O'Brien), TJ Storm (Conan), plus Emmy Award winners James Lew and Paul Wee.

Saturday, August 25, will include the Expo, complete with booths and performances from 10am to 5pm, while Sunday, August 26 will focus on workouts and seminars from martial icons Benny Urquidez, Don Wilson, Peter Cunningham, Michele Manu, Vince Cecere, Fariborz Azhakh, Robert Redfeather, Leo Fong, John Hackleman, Felix Roiles, Dr. Kam Yuen, and Sifu Matthew, from 9am to 2pm. All children 17 and under with an accompanying adult will be FREE for Saturday's event. All active military with ID will be FREE on both days.

Often referred to as the "ComicCon" for the martial arts, Dragonfest has continued to grow every year. "We outgrew our prior facility, and we have been able to expand to more than 150 Expo vendors this year," noted Museum President and Dragonfest Director Michael Matsuda.

Numerous Asian performances will fill the weekend with Hawaiian dancing girls, taiko drummers, Thailand dancers, Filipino stick fighting, martial arts demonstrations, and more.

A charity event, Dragonfest is the largest annual fundraiser for the Burbank-based Martial Arts History Museum. 100% of the funds collected will go to support the museum, which is planning on relocating to a much larger facility within the city.
