Kicking off its upcoming ninth season, Coeurage Theatre Company, LA's only Pay What You Want theatre company, has announced Gathering Coeurage, a special fundraising event that will offer a rare glimpse into the company's development process. The evening will feature a sneak peek at selections from Down to the Darkness, a new musical based on the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice by Coeurage Musical Director, three-time Ovation Award-winner Gregory Nabours, and staged portions of Under Milk Wood by Dylan Thomas, a full production of which was part of the company's premiere season in 2010. There will be a special preview of Gathering Coeurage on Saturday, April 14 at 7:30pm and the event is set for Sunday, April 15, at 7:30pm. The festivities will take place at the Carrie Hamilton Theatre in Pasadena.
Gregory Nabours' Down to the Darkness will receive its world premiere on the Coeurage stage at a date to be announced. Under Milk Wood is Dylan Thomas's classic play that explores a 'sea of dreams,' one night and day in the life of the 'little Welsh Village that never was.'

Under Ryan Wagner's direction, the cast for Under Milk Wood is (in alphabetical order) Ted Barton, Kai Lee Cartwright, Roni Geva, John McKetta, Sammi Smith, Randy Thompson, and Eddie Vona.
