JOSEPH premiered on Broadway January 24, 1982, played 757 performances and was revived on Broadway November 10, 1993, played 223 performances. In 1999 it was adapted as a straight to video film, starring Donny Osmond.
JOSEPH is almost completely sung through. Its family-friendly storyline, universal themes, and catchy music have made JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT one of the most popular musicals in musical theatre.
