Stephen Farber, one of the country's leading film critics and historians, will continue his film series Reel Talk with Stephen Farber at the Wadsworth Theatre for 10 Monday nights beginning March 15th. Reel Talk with Stephen Farber is presented in partnership with RICHMARK Entertainment and Landmark Theatres. The series will kick off on March 15 with an advance screening "The Greatest," starring Pierce Brosnan, Oscar-winner Susan Sarandon, and this year's Oscar nominee, Carey Mulligan, star of "An Education." Guest speakers will be producers Lynette Howell and Beau St. Clair.

Unlike any other preview series, Reel Talk with Stephen Farber allows the film going public to be the first to sample some of the most exciting movies of 2010. This past year, Reel Talk members got an early look at several of the major Academy Award nominated films, including "Up in the Air", "The Last Station", "The Young Victoria", "Julie & Julia", "In the Loop", and "The Cove." The tradition continues this Spring, with the season's most provocative movies followed by revealing discussions with top actors and filmmakers after the screenings. Previous Reel Talk guests have included Jason Reitman, Michael Caine, Bonnie Arnold, Michael Sheen, Laura Linney, Nia Vardalos, John Cusack, Javier Bardem, Claire Danes, as well as major directors John Singleton, Donald Petrie, Bill Condon, Mira Nair, and Mike Leigh, not to mention legendary producer Richard Zanuck.

Farber, who moderates each program, is one of the originators of this popular preview screening series, and has been doing it for more than 25 years now. Over the past three years, enrollment in Reel Talk with Stephen Farber at the Wadsworth has grown tremendously, because of the loyal following Farber has attracted. He assembles the series himself - working with the studios to supply the prints and with the filmmakers themselves to be the guests. For the film going public, this effort provides a connection to the movie industry and to the film itself, that is just not available, much less with this kind of authority, just about anywhere else.

A series pass for Reel Talk with Stephen Farber (10 screenings) is $170.00. A series parking pass is available for $90. Individual tickets are available for $20 per screening. Half price student rush tickets ($10) are also offered at the box office one hour prior to each screening with a valid student I.D.
