Just in time for the 2012 election, David Mamet's "November" comes to the Taper.
It's a few days before a presidential election and incumbent Charles Smith is in for a rough month -- his campaign funds are running out, his poll numbers are "lower than Gandhi's cholesterol" and the sofa needs to be reupholstered … all in all, it looks like the Thanksgiving turkey will have a better holiday season. But although his speechwriter seems to have defected, his chief of staff has all but given up and his wife is planning for her post-White House life, Charles isn't ready to throw in the towel quite yet.
Previews begin September 26, with an opening night set for October 7. The show continues through November 4, 2012.
