Casting has been announced for the upcoming West End premiere of the satiric political revue Bush is Bad.

Bush is Bad will be presented at the NoHo Arts Center in North Hollywood, CA beginning March 30th.  It will open on April 6th for a limited eight-week run through May 20th.  The production will feature: Roger Ainslie, Stefanie Black, Melanie Ewbank, Sabrina Miller, Gerry Mullins, Mai Thompson-Heath, Michael Craig Shapiro and Jonathan Zenz.

The show was previously seen in an extended run at Off-Broadway's Triad Theatre, where it ran for two years, closing on December 30th, 2006.

Bush is Bad is created by Joshua Rosenblum, who will also supply new songs for the West Coast premiere. The show, "which has been described as the hysterical love-child of Forbidden Broadway and 'The Daily Show,' offers catchy tunes, wickedly funny lyrics and scathing impersonations of the president and his dissembling gang of conspirators."  Jay Willick will direct Bush is Bad, which will feature musical direction by Michael Lavine.

A cast album, featuring Kate Baldwin, Neal Mayer and Michael McCoy, is available on the Original Cast Records label.

The NoHo Arts Center is located at 11136 Magnolia Blvd. in North Hollywood.  Tickets, which range from $20-$35, are available by calling (818) 508-7101 or at www.thenohoartscenter.com.  Visit www.bushisbadthemusical.com for more information.
