Coachella Valley Repertory Theatre (CVRep) is once again proud to present award winning performer Scott Dreier in Doris and Me as the first of its Summer Cabaret Series.

Co-written by Scott Dreier and Kurtis Simmons, Doris and Me was workshopped at CVRep in 2012 and has since been performed in Los Angeles, Arizona, San Diego (Welk Resort Theatre), Rhode Island, San Francisco, and at the prestigious New York cabaret showcase theater, 54 Below. Doris and Me is a winner of the 2013 and 2014 Eddon Best of LA Theater Award-Best Male Solo Show and Critic's Pick in Broadwayworld. The show is directed by Richard Israel with musical accompaniment by Curtis Brengle.

Doris and Me is one man's quirky, lovable obsession with music and movie icon, Doris Day. Scott Dreier makes this more than your typical tribute show to a timeless artist, taking the audience with him on a sentimental journey to times gone by. As he lovingly shares through treasured songs, personal anecdotes, humor, heart, and many Doris Day stories and history, Scott Dreier never lets us forget how much he loves her and why he has become Doris Day's biggest fan. If you're a Doris Day fan, it's a must; if you're not, you'll be one by the end of the show. Some of the songs which are included - Sentimental Journey; It's Magic; Secret Love; Que Sera, Sera; Everybody Loves A Lover (and many more - hits and lesser known tunes, as well.)

DORIS AND ME will be performed on Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20 at 7:00 PM and Sunday, June 21 at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $25. The CV Repertory Theatre is located in The Atrium, 69-930 Highway 111, in Rancho Mirage.
