COUNTER MEN writer-producer, Chuck Faerber, has announced that proceeds from the production of COUNTER MEN for performances Friday, August 19th, and Saturday, August 20th, will go towards the Simi Valley's American Cancer Society Relay for Life event taking place October 15, 2011, at the Rancho Simi Community Park, Simi Valley.

When Faerber heard that Carole Ursetti, the stage manager for his play COUNTERMEN, was participating in the October 15th event by forming a team and pledging to raise $1000, he decided to get involved offering proceeds from the show to help her reach her goal. Participating in this event is a personal issue for Carole Ursetti, a 21-year cancer survivor.

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. By participating, you honor cancer survivors, pay tribute to the lives we've lost to the disease, and raise money to help fight cancer in your community.

To support the cause, please attend a performance of COUNTER MEN Friday, August 19th, 8pm or Saturday, August 20th, 8pm at the Whitefire Theatre, 13500 Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks.

Tickets are $20.
