Brenda Adelman's nationally renowned one-woman stage play MY BROOKLYN HAMLET is currently running at Studio C Artists (6448 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles CA 90038), with upcoming performances April 19, 21, 26, and 28 at 8pm. Directed by John Coppola and produced by Michael Sonntag, MY BROOKLYN HAMLET is Brenda's acclaimed one-woman show about family, murder, love, betrayal and the power of forgiveness. In 1995 Brenda's mother was shot and killed by her father, who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter. While serving two years in prison, her father married her aunt, sending Brenda into a deep depression that could only be saved by her writing and performing.

After receiving a Master's degree in Spiritual Psychology, Brenda has triumphed and moved on to write My Brooklyn Hamlet, a beautiful, raw and funny story about the art of forgiveness, loving again and overcoming obstacles that can hold you back from enjoying life. With successful runs at The Leeds International Jewish Theatre Festival (Leeds, England), The New End Theatre (London, England), Celebration Theatre (Los Angeles), Bang Comedy Theatre (Los Angeles), Philip Cotloff Center (NYC, NY), and Pulse Ensemble Theatre (NYC, NY) and many more, My Brooklyn Hamlet is poised for a successful open and six-week run.
