Grand Delusion, a biting black comedy, by David Rock begins performances at The Lost Studio, Los Angeles on November 16.
The show "imagines a secret confab of world leaders in the days immediately preceding World War One. The year is 1914. The world is on the brink of war and chaos, and the fate of future generations is being shaped boldly by a few good madmen," explain press notes, "With a cast that includes Kurt Fuller (Anger Management, Scary Movie) as Kaiser Wilhelm, Xander Berkeley (George Mason on "24") as Czar Nicholas and Timothy Omundson ("Judging Amy," "Psych") as the Austrian foreign minister, it's a dark and hilarious depiction of how the gears of diplomacy - including intrigue, deception, gingerbread cookies, the ghost of Edward VII and a talking wildebeest - just might have turned, changing history forever."
Grand Delusion is written by David Rock and directed by Larry Biederman. The cast features Kurt Fuller, Xander Berkeley, Timothy Omundson, Stephen Lee, Brad Raider and Amanda Detmer.
