You and up to 2 guests will dine with one of America's most successful Olympic Champions, John Naber, at Il Fornaio in Pasadena, followed by a swim coaching session at the Rose Bowl Aquatic Center.
Naber was America's most highly decorated Olympian at the 1976 Games in Montreal (the second highest ever, at the time) earning four gold medals in swimming, each in world record time, and one silver medal. Naber became the first swimmer in history to earn two individual medals on the same day of Olympic competition, and earned the Sullivan Award as America's top amateur athlete of 1977, and was inducted in to the U.S. Olympic Committee Hall of Fame.
Since his unprecedented Olympic success, Naber has worked as a sports broadcaster in television for over 25 years, covering over 35 different sports and nine Olympic Games for television and radio. His work has aired on all the major networks and various cable outlets in different capacities. He also broadcasts as a reporter during the Rose Parade on ABC, and has for 25 years.
A published author and motivational speaker who has made over 800 appearances, Naber can share stories of his own incredible history, and can inspire you to greatness.
