Michael Sterling (Creator/Executive Producer) and Barbara Van Orden (Sponsor/Co-Executive Producer) proudly presented the critically acclaimed and highly anticipated LA's Next Great Stage Star competitions. The 2015 season began in January, in North Hollywood, CA. at Sterling's Upstairs at The Federal.
The only musical theatre competition of its kind on the west coast, now in its tenth anniversary, shines the spotlight on twenty undiscovered performers ranging in age between 18 and 32. To date, a combination of 8 Stage Star winners and contestants have since made their off-Broadway and/or Broadway debuts, with 2010 winner
Janet Krupin having made her Broadway debut in the hit musical "Bring it On" and 2010 fourth runner up
Derek Klena starring on Broadway as Fiyero in the mega hit musical "Wicked" and 2012 1st runner-up,
Carrie St Louis going on to appear in "Rock of Ages" in Vegas and eventually Broadway. Ns, St Louis will soon be seen as Glinda in "Wicked" at the Pantages in Los Angeles.
