Now back in Los Angeles where it all began, the five-time Tony Award nominated 80's musical ROCK OF AGES is once again rockin' the stage of the Pantages Theatre for a strictly limited one-week engagement through March 25.

The smash musical comedy hit—which will soon open as a major motion picture adaptation starring Alec Baldwin, Mary J. Blige, and Tom Cruise later this summer—shoves audiences back to L.A.'s famed Sunset Strip, circa 1987, surrounded by monster hits by the likes of Journey, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, Pat Benatar, Whitesnake, and many others.

At the heart of this show's hilarious plot is the blossoming love story between a newly-arrived small-town girl named Sherrie (Shannon Mullen) and a shy dreamer named Drew (Dominique Scott).

Before joining the cast of ROCK OF AGES, Scott—a.k.a. Pimpdaddyflex—was part of his very own NYC rock band Domin8trx, whose "face-melting" debut album Carousel is available on iTunes. As part of the tour's week-long stop in L.A., BroadwayWorld recently subjected the show's lead rocker to a few silly, rapid-fire questions. He obliged.

Subject: Dominique Scott
Nickname: Pimpdaddyflex
Hometown: Miami 305, baby!!!

What's your favorite 80's "hair band" ?

Probably a tie between Boston and Foreigner.

Are you on Team Debbie Gibson or Team Tiffany?

Who's that?

What is your must-do, pre-show ritual?

Brush my teeth and thank God.

In one word, describe what goes through your head right before you step out on stage...

"Shit..."

What's your favorite musical show and/or cast album of all time?

Favorite Musical: Little Shop of Horrors
Favorite Cast Album: Probably Rock of Ages (although I'm tired of hearing it now…)

What's the song that you like belting in the shower or when you're all alone in the car?

I'm usually quiet when I'm not on-stage these days. But when I do find time to sing for myself, it's usually in a very different style... Like Country, Opera, or R&B. Or I'm singing something from Domin8trx—the most awesome band in the world!

What scares you the most?

Eating some nasty shit like they do on Fear Factor.

What is your one guilty pleasure?

Justin Bieber.

What do you like to do on your day off?

I don't get days off... Seriously.

What or who irritates you the most?

Audience members who don't clap for me.

What instantly puts a smile on your face?

When people fall down.

Name a dream role in another show you'd like to play someday…

In the musical theater world... something like Chris in MISS SAIGON or Judas in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. But I REALLY want to be a clown for Cirque du Soleil.

If you could trade lives with someone for one day, who would that person be and why?

Aladdin. I could really put that magic carpet to use... and I hear Disney pays really well.

If you weren't an actor, what other career do you see yourself doing?

Pirate.

Describe the most embarrassing moment that's happened to you during a show/the tour?

When Shannon's [Sherrie] wig fell off on-stage during the end of Act One. I'm a great actor—but there was no way I was gonna get anyone to believe I would fall in love with THAT!

And lastly, what has been your absolute favorite moment of the tour so far?

This interview.
