BroadwayWorld.com brings you theater recommendations from San Luis Obispo's own Curt Miner.

As we arrive at the middle of February and Valentine's Day, the day when we celebrate LOVE - our Central Coast theatres are putting their loving finishing touches on a number of fine productions that you will not want to miss!

The Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts (www.pcpa.org), the Central Coast's Resident Professional Theatre Company, located on the Allan Hancock College Campus in Santa Maria, will present William Shakespeare's Macbeth, opening on February 18 (Corey Jones pictured as Macbeth).

The infamous chronicle of a Scottish hero's fall from grace, through spellbound seduction and the persuit of power.  Shakespeare's study of ambition leads us from battlefield triumph to bloody assassination as our title character gains the crown, but forfeits his soul.  (Recommended for 12 years and older)  Discounts for school groups
