Stella Adler Theatre (Los Angeles) presents Anthony Skordi in the premiere of "ONASSIS", written by Anthony Skordi and directed by Bruce Katzman, with opening set for tonight, Sept 14. The show runs through Oct. 28, 2012.

His hospitality was legendary, his charm mythical, his prowess unstoppable, his power formidable and his fortune … unsurpassed. Now, celebrated actor, Anthony Skordi, brings this larger than life persona to the stage in his one-man production of "Onassis."

Aristotle Onassis' life has been referred to as both a storybook existence, as well as a Greek tragedy. Skordi has exhaustedly researched the man who entertained everyone from business tycoons and royalty to the icons of stage and screen, as well as Presidents … and their wives, to offer a glimpse into the opulent world of the man who made and lived by his own rules as he went along. The billionaire who faced scandals, deaths and what many would call the "Onassis Curse."

Anthony Skordi (Onassis), born in London, UK, had a choice between RADA (Royal Acadamy of Dramatic Art) and Drama Centre, London. Anthony chose The Drama Centre, London. He worked at The Royal Shakespeare Company 1990-92 and became a member of Vanessa Redgrave's 'Moving Theatre' company. Skordi has successfully conquered the stage in the UK, Athens, Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Spain and Brazil. He has proven his versatility by crossing over to the small screen where he was a series regular for six television shows including both drama & comedy. His more recent work includes guest star spots on MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE, DETROIT 187, and the upcoming video games of GOD OF WAR 4 and MASS EFFECT. Anthony has gotten a lot of notice for his lead work on the new Kevin Spacey feature film, ENVELOPE ('Envelope' starring Kevin Spacey [OFFICIAL]). This fall he returns to his roots to perform a one-person play about Onassis, which will premiere at the Stella Adler Theater.
