Highly-acclaimed theater/film actress Angelica Page will star in three night only limited-run solo performances of the Paul Alexander play Edge and her self-written one-woman show Turning Page, based on life with her mother, legendary actress and early Actors Studio member Geraldine Page. Both shows will be presented as part of The Greenway Arts Alliance "Perspectives" series of solo shows at the Greenway Court Theater at 544 N. Fairfax Avenue in Los Angeles.

Tony nominated Wilson Milam is on board to direct both shows, while he'll also accompany Page to New Zealand for productions of both plays in June.

Edge will be performed tonight, February 27 at 8pm, Saturday, February 28th at 8pm and Sunday, March 1st at 7pm. Turning Page will be presented on Friday, March 6th at 8pm, Saturday, March 7th at 8pm and Sunday, March 8th at 7pm.

Edge, set in 1963 on the day of Sylvia Plath's apparent suicide, presents the self-told story of the troubled poet and author of The Bell Jar, The Colossus, Ariel and the Pulitzer Prize-winning Collected Poems. Page previously starred Off-Broadway in the play in Manhattan, for which she earned an Outer Critics Circle nomination for "Best Solo Performance".

Geraldine Page's sparkling career earned her a record-breaking eight Academy Award-nominations and made her one of the most influential American artists of the 20th century, but her personal life was marked by loss and tragedy. Turning Page is the triumphant and heartbreaking true story of one of the most celebrated actresses of all time, written and performed by the person who knew her best: her own daughter. This funny, moving, and deeply compassionate play is a tribute to an icon we lost too soon as well as a richly woven expression from a daughter coming to terms with her own complicated legacy.

Angelica Page (The Best Man, August: Osage County) has been developing "Turning Page" through The Actors Studio over the last couple years, as she is also a lifetime member and serves on its board of directors. The play and its development are also part of the writing process for Page, who is currently finishing up a book based on growing up with Geraldine Page and Rip Torn as parents. Both the play and book are being mentored by acclaimed writer/biographer Patricia Bosworth who is a fellow Actors Studio board member and former moderator of its Playwrights Directors Unit.

In addition, Page just finished shooting her co-starring role in the independent feature film thriller You Were Never Here in the fall, along with actor/playwright Sam Shepard and Boardwalk Empire's Vincent Piazza in New York City. In the film, which will be out later in 2015, Page plays Cleo Flitcraft, a formidable, elegant pillar of the art world, with Sam Shepard's character Paul Stark as her business partner.

Her Broadway credits include Anna Christie (Tony Award Best Revival), Side Man (Tony Award Best Play, Helen Hayes Award Best Actress) and in the national Broadway tour of Pulitzer Prize winning August: Osage County (Tony Award Best Play, Helen Hayes Award nomination Best Actress). Off-Broadway she starred as Sylvia Plath in the play Edge, (Outer Critics Circle Nomination Best Solo Performance) and The Vagina Monologues (original production & special Madison Square Garden production) to name a few.

Angelica Page has also appeared in 18 feature films including Oscar nominated movies Nobody's Fool, The Sixth Sense and The Contender, and on television shows including NBC's Law and Order and HBO's The Sopranos.
