ABOUT THE ANGEL CITY CHORALE
Angel City Chorale reflects the diversity of Los Angeles and is dedicated to building community one song at a time. Founded in 1993 by renowned artistic director Sue Fink, ACC has grown to over 135 singers who present a broad and eclectic repertoire at enthusiastic, audience-friendly concerts and outreach activities. The Chorale has performed at venues such as the Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Kodak Theatre, appeared on national television and worked with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, and Natasha Beddingfield.

To further their commitment to building community, ACC recently partnered with Foster Elementary School in Compton to bring an afternoon of music to kids whose music funding is largely nonexistent. Although 87% of Foster students are low-income, per-pupil spending ranks $1,000 lower than the state-wide average. On April 8, 20 ACC singers visited the school, sang, and engaged the children in the joy of music. "The assembly was a wonderful experience for the students and staff, and a huge reminder of how crucial the arts are in education." Sarah Adolphson, William Morris Endeavor Foundation. ACC's passion for service is what sets them apart from ordinary choirs and makes them an essential part of the LA community.
