Broadway's Andrew Lippa stars in Seibert & Lundquist's Swan Lake: The Musical, Live in Concert tonight, December 17, 2016 at 8:00PM at The Montalbán Theater in Hollywood.
The one-night-only event will feature the Hollywood Chamber Orchestra, Carrie St. Louis (Wicked, Rock of Ages), Carrie Manolakos (Wicked, Mamma Mia), Luann Aronson (Phantom of the Opera), Mario Jose (American Idol), Blake Segal (Mary Poppins), Liam Roberts in his LA stage debut, and a backing choir of ensemble members. Directing the concert will be Sammi Cannold (Asst. Dir. Great Comet), who directed the recent concert production of Ragtime on Ellis Island.
The story follows Odette, a princess under a curse who has been kept secret from her own empire. When impending war threatens the empire of Swan Lake, Odette's existence is revealed and she must choose between her love, her family, and her empire to bring peace. Based on the legends that inspired Tchaikovsky's famous ballet, Swan Lake: The Musical is an epic and sweeping retelling of the classic tale.
