THE JUDGMENT OF FOOLS is an interactive theatrical event where the audience is the star! Using improvisation, clowning, and commedia, THE JUDGMENT OF FOOLS challenges its spectators to help the Fools navigate an explosive terrain of race, social media, and societal taboos. What is good and what is bad? The audience's moral compass is put to the test in this vaudevillian circus fueled by snap judgments. Equal parts rowdy debauchery, psychological experiment, and thoughtful societal critique, THE JUDGMENT OF FOOLS aims to subvert as much as it does to entertain.
THE JUDGMENT OF FOOLS stars Ammunition company members Karla Mosley (The Bold & The Beautiful, Hart of Dixie, Angel From Hell), Tina Huang (Rizzoli & Isles, CSI, Shameless), Malcolm Barrett (Dear White People, Better Off Ted, Key & Peele), Ari Boyland (Blood Punch, Power Rangers), and Garrett Mercer (Sacrifice on the Ante, Animal Magic, A Good Woman). Director Deena Selenow has worked all over Los Angeles and New York with organizations including REDCAT, La Jolla Playhouse/Chalk Rep, Highways Performance Space, Watts Village Theater Company, Dixon Place, and New York Theatre Workshop's 4th Street Theatre. Selenow was a recipient of the 2006 Baryshnikov Art Center Multi-Disciplinary Artist Fellowship, the 2009/2010 NYTW Emerging Artist Directing Fellowship, and was a participant in the 2013 Walt Disney Imagineering Educational Initiative. In 2015, Selenow was recognized nationally by American Theatre Magazine as a "Person to Watch."

The mission of Ammunition Theatre Company is to produce work that features underrepresented stories told in innovative ways, while actively working and creating in the community. Ammunition chose THE JUDGMENT OF FOOLS as their first full-length because they believe it is a show that it is as dynamic and complex as the company itself. The play is bold and aggressive in its methods, exploring a number of the themes that speak to the community and the world around us. Ammunition is a member of the Pasadena Arts Council's EMERGE Fiscal Sponsorship Program. This program enables all donations made to Ammunition Theatre Company to be tax deductible. As part of its ongoing commitment to the community, Ammunition is currently partnered with My Friend's Place- an organization dedicated to assisting and inspiring homeless youth in Los Angeles to build self-sufficient lives. In 2015, Ammunition was honored by the organization as Volunteer Partner of the Year
