Principal dancers from the American Ballet Theatre and multimedia artist Herman Kolgen have been added to the summer lineup for the Hollywood Bowl.

American Ballet Theatre Principal Dancers Marcelo Gomes, Paloma Herrera, Veronika Part and Cory Stearns will perform in the Tchaikovsky Spectacular with Fireworks concert at the Hollywood Bowl, Friday and Saturday, September 7 and 8, at 8 pm. The all-Tchaikovsky program features Herrera and Stearns in the famous White Swan pas de deux from Swan Lake and Part and Gomes in pas de deux from The Nutcracker.

Multimedia artist Herman Kolgen will create video imagery to accompany the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s performance of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony to close the Tuesday, July 10 program. The video, an LA Phil and Getty Museum co-commission, celebrates Gustav Klimt’s 150th birthday and his famous Beethoven Frieze, and will be shown during the “Ode to Joy” finale of the symphony. This performance is in conjunction with the Getty’s landmark exhibition Gustav Klimt: The Magic of Line on view from July 3 through September 23, 2012. Also on the program, led by Leonard Slatkin, are Anna Clyne’s Rewind, Anne LeBaron’s American Icons and Cindy McTee’s Tempus Fugit.

Subscriptions for the Hollywood Bowl 2012 summer season are available now at HollywoodBowl.com or via credit card phone order at 323.850.2000. “Five or More” subscriptions are also available. The Hollywood Bowl Box Office opens for single ticket sales on Saturday, May 5.
