Adam Pascal will host a Los Angeles mini-concert paying tribute to the late Jonathan Larson, whose Rent Pascal starred in on Broadway and on film.  The concert will be held on July 22nd at noon at the Grove Town Square.

The national tour of Rent is currently playing the Pantages Theatre.  Cast members from that show will perform at the concert, as will the cast of tick...tick...BOOM!, which is a current hit for the Rubicon Theatre.  Songs from Rent and Larson's posthumously-produced hit tick...tick...BOOM! will be performed.

Pascal was also previously announced for a solo concert at the Brentwood Theatre, which he will perform on July 28th and July 29th.

Pascal earned Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations for Best Leading Actor in a Musical, as well as Theater World Award and an Obie Award for Outstanding Talent for the role of Roger Davis in the Jonathan Larson musical Rent on Broadway.  He won a Drama League Award for his performance as Radames in Aida, and was also seen on Broadway as the Emcee in Cabaret. His first rock CD, "Model Prisoner" was released by Sh-K-Boom Records in 2001, while the follow-up album "Civilian" was released in 2004.  He also co-produced the Off-Broadway hit "Fully Committed."  Film credits include School of Rock and Rent, in which he reprised the role of Roger.
