Jetset Getset will join other young bands for an evening of multicultural entertainment at Hollywood's all-ages nightclub AMPLYFi onThursday, May 9, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The Indiana-based teenage band has been named by the Country Music Association among "Who New to Watch," and is on a week-long tour of Southern California, including performances at the Young Artist Awards, The Ranch Saloon in Anaheim and The Viper Room.
Sitting in with Jetset Getset as a special guest will be LA-based Ben Babylon, a 15-year-old, award-winning keyboard player, whose own band, the Ben Babylon Band, performs often in the region.
Also performing at AMPLYFi on May 9 will be The Sneaky Gypsies, Milhouse Palacios (from Argentina) and Dioses del Tiempo.
Jetset Getset is comprised of vocalists Tori Little, Sadie Loveland and Avery Eliason, who sing three-part harmony and have been compared by some critics to a younger version of the Dixie Chicks. They are backed by musicians Jason Owens, Justen Jette, Paul Kelley, Gillian Bowman and Terry Ranck, the only adult who performs with the band on a regular basis.
Jetset Getset's album "Saturday Night" (Playback Records) is available on iTunes, Amazon and Google Music. The title track is being played by a growing number of radio stations.
Jetset Getset will perform at AMPLYFi, 5600 block of Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles, California 90038 on Tuesday, May 7, beginning at 7:30 p.m. All ages. Admission: $8 in advance, $10 at the door. For more information, visit www.amplyfi.com.
