A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, continues their family holiday tradition by presenting its production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, the ultimate tale of forgiveness, opening Saturday, December 7 and closing Sunday, December 22, 2013. This is the second year that ANW has presented the timeless holiday classic, once again accompanied by a special fundraiser event, "Fezziwig's Festive Holiday Tea" on December 8, which directly supports Classics Live! - ANW's education programs. The event will feature a live auction hosted by NBC4's Fritz Coleman.

Producing Artistic Directors Geoff Elliott and Julia Rodriguez-Elliott co-direct Dickens' masterpiece about the redemptive and transformative power of love with an adaptation by Geoff Elliott that uses Dickens' remarkable words exclusively as well as evocative original music by composer Ego Plum.

The cast features Geoff Elliott*(Scrooge), Robertson Dean* (Narrator), Stephen Rockwell*(Mr. Cratchit/Ensemble), Rafael Goldstein* (Fred/Young Scrooge/Ensemble), Jill Hill* (Mrs. Cratchit/Ensemble), Mitchell Edmonds* (Marley/Old Joe/Ensemble), Deborah Strang* (Ghost of Christmas' Past/Charwoman/Ensemble), Alan Blumenfeld* (Ghost of Christmas Present/Benevolent Gentleman/Ensemble), Alison Elliott (Belle/Laundress/Ensemble), DiAna Gonzalez-Morett (Martha Cratchit/Ensemble), Brendan Haley (Peter Cratchit/Ensemble), Georgia Miller (Belinda Cratchit/Ensemble), Jack Elliott (Cratchit Twin/Turkey Boy/Ensemble), Marie Sullivan (Cratchit Twin/Ensemble). *denotes member of Actor's Equity

"Remounting our acclaimed presentation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol allows families to once again take a supremely theatrical journey, celebrating the transformative power of forgiveness during the holidays," says Elliott. Rodriguez-Elliott adds, "Ebenezer Scrooge's rebirth from miserly curmudgeon to the epitome of love and generosity affirms our faith in the potent goodness of human kind during this beloved time of year."

A Noise Within's 2013-14 Season continues with Tartuffe by Molière (February 22-May 24), Macbeth by William Shakespeare (March 15-May 11), and concludes with Come Back, Little Sheba by William Inge (April 5- May 17).
