The critically acclaimed Glendale Centre Theatre (GCT), now in its 65th year as the longest, continually-operating theatre in the United States, completes its 2012 season with its annual, breathtaking production of the Charles Dickens' classic… A Christmas Carol now through December 24, 2012.
GCT Artistic Producer/Director Tim Dietlein directs a cast of twenty-seven led by the GCT's favorite "Scrooge" Mario DiGregorio in what has become a regionally acclaimed adaptation by GCT co-producer Brenda Dietlein who weaves text from the 1843 story into the script and narration in which ghosts remind stingy mercenary Ebenezer Scrooge that 'mankind should be his business'... a haunting reminder to everyone! Dickens' carol of redemption seeks to reclaim Scrooge's heart and in its song, elevates us all. Brenda Dietlein's version of A Christmas Carol is not a musical, but incorporates original songs and carol arrangements. DECEMBER 18th - DECEMBER 23th – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday at 8:00 p.m. Saturday at 3:00 p.m.; Sunday at 1:00 p.m. & 5:00 p.m.
DECEMBER 24TH - Monday at 2:00 p.m.
Tickets range between $16.00 – $28.00, pending the date and time of performance. Discount rates are available for groups of 15 or more. The Glendale Centre Theatre is located at 324 N.
