The critically acclaimed Glendale Centre Theatre (GCT), now in its 65th year as the longest, continually-operating theatre in the United States, completes its 2012 season with its annual, breathtaking production of the Charles Dickens' classic… A Christmas Carol November 23 through December 24, 2012.
GCT Artistic Producer/Director Tim Dietlein directs a cast of twenty-seven led by the GCT's favorite "Scrooge" Mario DiGregorio in what has become a regionally acclaimed adaptation by GCT co-producer Brenda Dietlein who weaves text from the 1843 story into the script and narration in which ghosts remind stingy mercenary Ebenezer Scrooge that 'mankind should be his business'... a haunting reminder to everyone! Dickens' carol of redemption seeks to reclaim Scrooge's heart and in its song, elevates us all. Brenda Dietlein's version of A Christmas Carol is not a musical, but incorporates original songs and carol arrangements.
