3-D Theatricals, Orange County's most distinguished regional musical theatre Production Company, presents the Tony Award-winning spectacular HELLO, DOLLY! starring Valerie Perri as Mrs. Dolly Gallagher Levi. Previewing July 15, with its official opening July 16 at Fullerton's historic Plummer Auditorium and continuing there through July 31, the Fullerton run is followed by a second opening at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center where it will preview August 5, and officially open August 6, 2016.

Based on Thornton Wilder's 1955 play "The Matchmaker", HELLO DOLLY! features Music and Lyrics by Jerry Herman (Mame and La Cage aux Folles) and a Book by Michael Stewart (Bye Bye Birdie and 42nd Street). The production was hailed as ""One of the biggest, brightest musicals of the 20th century!" by The New York Times; and "Infectiously enthusiastic!" by the Los Angeles Times. The musical phenomenon, which ran for nearly 3,000 performances on Broadway, won 10 Tony Awards in 1964 including "Best Musical." The 1969 film version of HELLO, DOLLY! was nominated for 7 Academy Awards. An Original Cast Recording of Hello, Dolly! was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2002.

ABOUT THE SHOW:

HELLO, DOLLY! is the story of turn-of-the-century widowed matchmaker Dolly Gallagher Levi, who, after cunningly negotiating marriages for others through a series of comic romantic entanglements, ultimately finds her own match; and, as always, 3-D Theatricals will cast its much heralded spin on HELLO DOLLY! to further enhance an already magical piece of musical theatre filled with such memorable songs as Put On Your Sunday Clothes, Before the Parade Passes By, It Only Takes A Moment; and, of course, the show-stopping title song.
